It is God Who splits the grain and the seed. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is God; so how are you deluded?

And God has created every moving creature from water. Of them is a kind that creeps on its belly, and of them is a kind that walks on two legs, and of them is a kind that walks on four. God creates what He wills. Indeed, God on everything is All-Powerful. 

Has there not come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing even mentioned? 

Indeed, We created man from a semen-drop, a mixture, so that We may test him; so We made for him hearing and sight. 

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? 

Nay! We are Able to restore even his fingertips.

O humankind I have already given you an idea of the magnificence of the Kingdom of God around you. Now let me tell you something about life on earth and especially human beings. When we consider the living creatures only on planet Earth, about 8.7 million is the new estimated total number of species on this planet with 6.5 million species on land and 2.2 million in oceans. It is important to mention that almost 86% of all species on land and 91% of those in the seas have yet to be identified and discovered. This is just an idea of the number of species on earth and by species, we mean a group of living bodies consisting of similar individuals like humans are one species, monkeys a separate species, horse a different so on and so forth. And only this single human species is 7.4 billion in numbers on planet earth. The number of insects and microorganisms is much greater than the rest of species. Just to give you a rough idea the number of insects on earth is approx. Ten quintillions OR ten million trillion. Only Ants population accounts for one percent of insects with a total population of ten thousand trillion. All the ants are almost as massive as all the humans in this world. That is if we were to weigh all the ants in the world, they would weigh as much as all of the 7.4 billion people on earth. The average weight of an ant is between 1 to 5 mg. Thus you can calculate their total weight multiplying by their population which I told you is ten thousand trillion.

There is not 1 cm area on this planet earth that is without living creatures. There are more life forms living on your skin than there are people on the planet. The total number of microorganisms in our bodies is many times greater than the number of human cells. And the number of human cells in an average adult is approx. 37.5 trillion. While a total of 137 trillion of microbes in the human body out of which there are around 1000 species living only on human skin from 19 phyla. Almost 25million to 500 million on every square inch of your skin. Most are found in the superficial layers of the epidermis and the upper parts of hair follicles. All of the bacteria in our body collectively weighs about 4 pounds. But the number of microorganisms is mind-blowing. Only the human gut contains nearly trillions of bacteria. There’re more bacteria in your mouth than there are people in the world. Just in your belly button, there are 2,368 species of bacteria. A single cup of yogurt can have as many microorganisms as the human population on planet earth. So much creation everywhere, who is feeding them all. Is this all designed, created, happening and running by its own. Nay, it is all by the Will and command of your Lord. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny? 

Then consider the creation and reproduction of everything around in animal and plant kingdom. For example, you have made a complete science of how a flower grows and understood all the steps behind. But I tell you that you are only discovering these laws and methods while the fact of the matter is that it’s still a total miracle of coming out of so many colors and fragrances from soil from dust. How a chick comes out of an egg how a multicolor bird created from an egg which has no stuff similar to that inside it. Look at the feathers the tail the beak how can they be formed from the material which is inside the egg. There is nothing in the matter inside an egg that can create a colorful thing like feathers. A hard thing like beak and miraculous thing like eyes. Is this all designed, created, happening and running by its own. Nay, it is all by the Will and command of your Lord. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny? 

Then consider a seed it gives birth to a plant millions of time bigger than it. There is so much data in a single seed that can be compared to all books written till now. One single box of seeds could store practically all the archives that are currently in the world. One gram of DNA could store the equivalent of 14,000 Blu-ray discs. Then consider your own reproduction one drop of semen contains almost 20 million sperms. The power of producing 20million humans. Is this all designed, created, happening and running by its own. Nay, it is all by the Will and command of your Lord. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny? 

Then consider your own creation. Your limbs and organs, your hearts, eyes, brains and conscious. In the human body, cells are always created and destroyed. About 300 million cells die every minute in our bodies. Half of your body’s red blood cells are replaced every seven days. Approximately 50-70 billion new cells born every day in a human body. Your tongue has 3,000 taste buds which give you the sense of various tastes of salt, sweet, sour and bitter. Humans shed about 600,000 particles of skin every hour. If all the blood vessels in your body were laid end to end, they would reach about 96000 km i.e almost two times the trip around the earth.

Your two lungs that just weigh 1.3 kilograms have a very complex system. The total length of the airways running through the two lungs is 2,400 Km. The entire internal surface area of lungs is approx. 700 sq ft. Almost equal in size to that of a two-bed apartment. Your Lungs inhale and exhale 20000-30000 time a day. Your heart beats 103,000 times a day and pumps almost 10,000 liters of blood. They keep on doing their job even though you are not conscious of it. With billions of human population on earth, no one is identical to another. Not only face but Every person’s voice, Eye Retina, Ear curves ridges and tongue print is as unique as a fingerprint. Is this all designed, created, happening and running by its own. Nay, it is all by the Will and command of your Lord. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny? 

There are almost 37.5 trillion cells in human body. Every cell in itself is a complete factory which has its own power generation, sewerage, and waste removal mechanism. Cells as protein-producing factories and are very similar to our factories. To stay alive and function properly, cells have a division of labor similar to that found in our own factories. Cells are formed of a plasma membrane, a nucleus, and cytoplasm. Plasma membrane controls what enters or leaves the cell. It is similar to the shipping and receiving department of a factory. The plasma membrane also operates as the communications department because it is where the cell contacts the external environment. The Nucleus is like the executive department that runs the cell factory and controls all its activity. It decides what proteins are to be made and keep a record of all the plans for any proteins that the cell currently produces or has made in the past. The nucleus membrane contains the blueprints of the cell. The information for the production of proteins is encoded in a series of bases along the DNA found in the nucleus. The cytoplasm includes everything between the cell membrane and the nucleus. It holds many kinds of cell structures and is the site of most cell activity. The cytoplasm is similar to the factory floor where most of the products are assembled, finished, and shipped. 

These structures perform various functions for the cell which come under the categories of production, maintenance, and energy transformation. These workers in cytoplasm do not create the product designs rather they read the plans sent from the executive department nucleus in this case. Ribosomes are specially tasked workers that build proteins and they themselves are manufactured by the nucleolus. Mitochondria and Chloroplasts are specially tasked workers Or tools of a cell located in the cytoplasm. These are the two organelles responsible for power generation. Like our factory’s power plants, mitochondria and chloroplasts transform one form of energy to another. Remember that nearly all the energy used by living things on Earth comes from the Sun. These cells have so many activities to perform that a scientist who studies them can easily come to the conclusion that they are entities of high intelligence. Is this all designed, created, happening and running by its own. Nay, it is all by the Will and command of your Lord. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny? 

Then Comes your Brain your conscious. The average human brain has about 100 billion neurons or nerve cells and many more neuroglia or glial cells which serve to support and protect the neurons. Each neuron may be connected to up to 10,000 other neurons, passing signals to each other via as many as 1,000 trillion synaptic connections, equivalent by some estimates to a computer with a 1 trillion bit per second processor. The human brain weighs about 3 lbs 1300-1400 grams. Inside the skull brain is covered by a Fluid called Cerebrospinal fluid, brain floats in this fluid. It also helps to absorb shocks to protect the brain from impact with the skull. Estimates of the human brain’s memory capacity vary wildly from 1 to 1,000 terabytes. For comparison, the 19 million books in the US Library of Congress represents about ten terabytes of data. 

The human brain is by far the most sophisticated phenomenon that we have been able to observe to date in our universe. And after decades of neuroscience, we still have endless questions about this mysterious structure that holds as many neurons as there may be stars in our galaxy.

The human brain is an astonishingly complex vehicle without a driver. A computer without a CPU. There is no such thing in the brain as a core a central processor. There are no lights inside the skull. There is no sound either. All you have got is streams of electrical impulses which are only indirectly related to things in the world whatever they may be. The brain does not hear sound or see the light. What we perceive is its best guess of what is out there in the world.

We can track our origins and the molecules in our body back to the stars in which they were produced and see that we are all connected. Over billions of years, these molecules configured themselves into complex units that we call human beings. These are the mysteries of creation how morality arose from material reason emerged from matter, and how mind arose from mud. A heap of sand and human brain has same elements why some carbon molecules are conscious others not.

Every time you learn a new fact or skill, you change your brain. It is something we call neuroplasticity. Thirty years ago, we thought that after puberty, the only changes that took place in the brain were negative i.e aging loss of cells etc. but now research has shown us that all of our behaviors change our brain. And that these mutations are not limited by age. So your brain’s changing capacity i.e neuroplasticity is supported by three ways chemical, structural, and by functional changes. Research has shown that increased difficulty, increased struggle actually leads to both more learning, and more significant structural change in the brain. This is the lesson all religious scriptures told you that by controlling your desires and by practice you can actually purify your soul and eventually be able to get control on your habits and the evil whispers that force you for wrong things. So our brain is tremendously plastic, and it’s been shaped both structurally and functionally by everything we do, but also by everything that we don’t do. Behaviors that you employ in your everyday life are important. Each of them is changing your brain. Is this all designed, created, happening and running by its own. Nay, it is all by the Will and command of your Lord. So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?

And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.

And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.

And of His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.

And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient.

And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
